Robert Cooper started his railroad career in 1997 on the main lines with CSX Railroad. Starting as a trackman on a section gang in Memphis, Tn. Robert quickly rose to the rank of Production Foreman after showing much knowledge and ability. He has traveled all across the United States supervising production rail, tie, and surfacing teams of 10-80 men assuring safety, productivity, while conforming to FRA standards.
Robert, a FRA qualified Track Inspector is able to detect deviations and prescribe appropriate remedial action to correct or safetly compensate for those deviations. After inspecting mainline tracks for many years. Robert recieved a phone call to inspect an industry track as independent inspector after a discrepency with an industry owner and a railroad contractor. This sparked an idea that industries needed someone to inform them of the minimum standards to keep them in complaince. Without an affiliation to a railroad contractor.

Company history
ON TRACK was establised in 2007 to provide much needed information to the industries about the true conditions of their railroad tracks.
